Focus and Scope

Journal of Chittagong Medical College Teachers Association (JCMCTA) is official journal of Chittagong Medical College Teachers Association published by the Editor In Chief of JCMCTA. It is a multidisciplinary, peer reviewed journal published two times in a year (June and December). Our mission is to improve the transparency, integrity and reproducibility of biomedical research. While every effort is always made by the editorial board and the members of the journal committee to avoid misleading materials/data appearing in JCMCTA, information within the individual article is the responsibility of its author(s). The JCMCTA, its editorial board and journal commit- tee accept no liability for the inaccurate and mis- leading information, contents or comments communicated through published articles.

Editorial Policies and Ethics

The Journal has emphasis on speedy publications. Though we accept article from all over globe, preference is given to those articles from and dealing with issue relevant to developing countries. We expect authors to follow the World Medical Association declaration of Helsinki.

Copyright and Open Access

This is an open access journal. Users are allowed to read, download, copy the full text of the articles in the journal without asking prior permission from authors or publishers. Author retains the copyright of their article.

Scientific Misconduct

We deal with this problem on a case-by-case basis while following guidance produced by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, the committee on publication ethics.

Competing Interest

JCMCTA require authors to declare any competing financial or other interest in relation to their work.

Promotion and Press

Article published in JCMCTA may be promoted by press release to the general or scientific press after publication date of that issue.
